Culinary Arts Academy: Advanced: Day 6

Today, we made white decorator buttercream icing to decorate the two cakes that we left in the freezer on Thursday.  We finished decorating the chocolate cake, spreading Friday’s lemon mousse in between the layers and the icing on top, and brought it home, and we did the first coat of the yellow cake and make the roses for it (I made mine pink), but we’re going to bring that one home tommorow after we finish it.  We also make some more mini danishes with our finished puff pastry, using Friday’s lemon cream cheese filling and a blueberry filling instead of the canned cherry one, but we didn’t bring them home.  It was a lot of fun, and I can’t wait for tommorow!!!!!
